THE CYCLE OF ANTICIPATION AND DISAPPEARANCE.

Sweet Fix stages the cycle of anticipation, delight, and disappearance through the image, and taste, of a single lollipop.

The work stages a dialogue between the image and the body. On the wall, a visual sequence depicts a glossy red sucker gleaming with promise, which then dulls, is consumed, and finally fades into a faint stick and after-glow.

The Participatory Element The installation is not passive. Included with the artwork is a glass jar labeled "Help Yourself!" filled with real lollipops. Viewers are invited to take a candy. As the sugar dissolves in the mouth, the physical act mirrors the visual decay on the wall.

In the Intelligence Age, where every image and emotion can be endlessly reproduced, Sweet Fix explores the repetition of desire and the beauty of what is finite. It acts as a meditation on celebration itself, how sweetness, color, and joy are both abundant and fleeting.
