A visual meditation on Sapiens' Odyssey.

Ecce Sapiens: Also sprach Avery Lake (Ein Kunstprojekt für Alle und Keinen) is a five-part visual journey inspired by philosophy, cinema, theology, and emerging science. Drawing from works such as 2001: A Space Odyssey, Nietzsche’s Thus Spoke Zarathustra, and recent studies in quantum physics suggesting that consciousness may be fundamental to the universe, this collection explores the unfolding odyssey of Homo sapiens.

Each piece marks a step in that journey. From the first light and invention of tools, through the rise of artificial intelligence, to the possibility of transcendence. It echoes ancient ideas of the Logos: the rational, conscious principle at the heart of creation as both origin and destination.
