The Seducer

We were tempted to add more to the triptych.
The message of the Seducer sounded plausible. Even kind.

But the triptych was already complete.
The saints had spoken.

You don’t need to become one.
You already are one.

The Seducer wanted to be the center, to make a mockery of the Saints. To clone them into clowns, into a theatrical temptation. A spectacle that had to be stopped.

The Seducer tried to shape a second triptych, placing himself at the center of the chiasm.

He sought to turn the Saints into clowns, their message into a spectacle.

But the temptation was stopped.

These prints will never see the light of day.

What was imagined was refused.

The Saints remain.
