THE GIFT OF BREATH

The Gift of Breath gathers five works from 2025 to 2026 into one breath lineage: physical, digital, ritual, image, and machine-readable forms. At the centre is a new single-channel video, a 24 sec. loop, 1/1, minted upon request. The work traces breath from the first human cry to the machine's first discipline.

AVERY LAKE

Avery Lake is a multidisciplinary artist dedicated to visual and philosophical reflection in the Intelligence Age.

Drawing from doctoral and postdoctoral work in ethics, particularly on human enhancement, Avery’s creations explore the fragile intersections of humanity, nature, and technology. Each collection is a meditation: from the first breath to posthuman memory, from personal presence to collective resistance. Informed by conceptual structure and emotional depth, these pieces invite viewers to slow down, consider what still matters, and reflect on how art, intention, and technology shape our shared human experience.
