Movements of Peace

You are invited
to find the glimmers
and to see
what might happen
when you do.

This series is not available for sale yet. I’m currently exploring the right way to share it, ideally with a partner or initiative that aligns with its spirit. If this speaks to you, I’d be happy to connect.

Act I. Fingerprints

Mirror the touch.
Even in the night,
glimmers of light will find you.
/
But don’t cross.
Only from behind the mirror.
You will see.
/
Let me know
when you see it
and the glimmers found you.
/
This is where peace starts.

Act II. Baltic Hands

Join in.
This is how glimmers
brighten the night.
/
Let me know
when you did
and the glimmers moved on.

Act III. Lifted Arms

I’m glad you joined the chain.
/
This is how glimmers
become unstoppable.

About the work

This three-act movement was inspired by the idea that peace begins within ourselves and can then be shared outwardly through connection and action. One of the key inspirations is The Baltic Way a peaceful protest that took place in 1989 across the former Soviet Union, where approximately two million people joined hands to form a 690-kilometer human chain across Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. It was a powerful example of non-violent resistance, and a reminder that peace can be both deeply personal and profoundly collective.
